The Next Hit Song will be holding 11 Live Auditions throughout the USA beginning May 2005.

This summer, between May and July, The Next Hit Song Contest will hold live auditions in 11 cities nationwide. Entries made by live audition will be at no charge.

Live auditions will be a 3-day process. An open-call (first-come, first served) on the first two days will narrow all entrants to 24 to showcase in the Preliminary round held the 3rd day. Four artists from each of the 6 categories will showcase in the Preliminary.

Local music business judges will select ONE winner per category from each Preliminary round will move on to the Semi-Final Round.

Preliminaries will be shown online and on television to allow the public to vote for THREE "people's choice" winners to go to the Semi-Final Round.

Why you should enter BOTH Online
AND at a Live Audition:

UYou can only enter ONE song in live auditions -enter as MANY AS YOU LIKE through online auditions

ULive Auditions only run 1 week in only 11 cities - Online Entries are accepted March - August in all of the USA!

The bottom line is: you want your music exposed to people who can help you get out there, right?

The Next Hit Song has Music Industry Executives involved in all aspects of the event. You never know who (or when) someone important will hear your music and like it!

The more places you are involved in the contest, the better your chances of being seen and working out a deal with people who want to help you!
